Pales and IPAs
Hoppy beers cut through the fats of the richer meats we smoke and can cool down our spicier sauces. They also balance the strong flavors of barbeque and allow for a complex finish. Staying on the crisper and dryer side will help from blowing out your palate.
Porters and Stouts
Porters traditionally pair well with smoked, roasted, and charred flavors. Stouts need a little more care as they can easily overpower all but the richest of flavors.
Pilsners are a great option for lighter meats as well as vegetable and seafood dishes.
